THE ONE?!

Okay so xbox one is coming out "sometime this year". Which most likely means right before xmas. So the dilemma is, are we all going to be switching to the new xbox or will our league die next year 3 months after the start lol. And for those of you that do not read because they spend all their free time trolling. The new box is not backwards compatible, I repeat NOT. So yes, the two consoles will NOT coincide online.

Madden 25 coming out before the one. So prolly won't worry til madden 15

Just as an FYI about the new system...

All the games MUST use Kinect. I am not sure if you have to use it at all times, but all games are tied in. I hate Kinect...think motion gaming is stupid. Why would I want to use motion to play NBA 2K when I can just go outside and shoot a basketball? Or to do a workout routine....isn't that what a gym is for? Not a Xbox lol.

It also isn't backwards compatible....which is just stupid. Sony gets this right everytime.

Also, Xbox Live for the One will not coexist with Xbox live for the 360. Meaning, you cant party chat with someone on a 360 if you are on a One. Brilliant move...

Next madden seems too soon for a new xbox league since Madden 25 will drop 3 months before the Xbox One. Even then, it will be sold out everywhere.

by the time we get the new box (late november /december) we will be getting into the end of our first batch of leagues anyways...

roster updates come out around feb and we normally start a new league by that time anyways..

probably going to end up playing the old xbox till roster updates and the guys who end up with the new box can make a new league for the xb1

whoever doesnt have the new box can keep going on the old xbox... its not like we never had 2 leagues going at once in here anyways... might be confusing at first but im guessing thats how it will go...

I understand that... but a possibility is that they allow those who bought the game to download the new version and have the whole game saved on the HD... just a possibility.. something I would hope they do .. but the chances are slim

they will make you pay a fee to use online games now...no chance they give you Madden 25 for your new Xbox for free just because you bought it for your old one.

something they have ot think about is that everyone knows the nex XBox is coming out.. and if they DONT do something to cut the price in some way then they may have a lot of gamers waiting to buy the game.. which will hurt sales.. maybe a higher trade in value or something. .who knows

there is a difference between microsft and EA .... EA is peanuts compared to microsoft ..... point being is they have to worry about sales

imo the new xbox will mean nothing for our league, simply cause madden comes out in august and there not gona stop updating etc on the 360 for madden. so either way everything will be fine. and whoever does get the new xbox here we still dont know if the madden on the new xbox, u can play against people on the 360 so if thats the case we wont have a problem at all. im not getting the new console right away cause im dirt broke but thats just me.

you cant play cross platform.

EA only cares about profit Bum. They wont give away a free copy of a game on an entirely different platform. They dont give a shit.

looks like PMS will split into two leagues after the one. Because Im sure a lot of us will be buying it. and you wont have to buy it if you get the launch package. Supposedly madden will be a launch title for the one.

I think that was because they completely started from scratch there, looks like they'll be able to just use the same one over to this instead of redoing it completely.

I Remeber that Ryan. 06 was awful on 360. It didn't even seem like madden. Had 06 on GameCube as well and it was normal.

To the person with the broken Xbox, just get old one for next season for like 60 bucks on amazon/ebay. Also we should all play on PC next madden. Lol at people buying PS4, the internet is gonna suck so bad, PS+ is shitty, and Microsoft confirmed dedicated servers on Xbox live so Madden will be smooth on the One.

Maybe the One will be more appealing after a while. And has a huge price drop. I'm basically buying a new system to play Madden in PMS / CMPL.
