Help Us Help You (now hiring)

We're looking for some more people to be responsible for specific duties around here. As much as I'd like to do it all myself, I think it would be better if more people are a part of this so that there is more consistency. I'll still be helping with everything, but it would help a lot to have someone in charge of something. Either message me or post here if you'd be willing to take over a job.

I'd change your user title here so everyone knows your position and I'd give you any related forum access.

The following:
- Trade admin (~3) : responsible for keeping an eye on trades, approving trades and helping with any trade-related issues.

- Statistics admin (RyanPelley) : responsible for making weekly recap blog-like posts, posting about league leaders and players of the week & updating power rankings every few weeks.

- Screening admin : responsible for screening new members and making sure that they understand our rules & are a fit for the league.

I'd like to be a trade admin, I'm sim and all

I wouldn't mind doing the statistics stuff. I enjoy writing up those kinds of things.

Id love to help out with trades but only after i get tebow

People will forget and no one would read that many recap posts anyway. People reading posts about notable games/performances is more realistic imo

There are a lot of people that will want to be in the trade group, getting a varied mix will help. Might make it involve 5 or so people so that it is really effective at monitoring trading

Sip, if you'd like to screen players that would help a lot, but you'd have to be cool with screening to our style. I think you'd be good for screening

I'm not complaining about sip. Just saying the complaints have been a common occurrence. Maybe he's changed?

No one has had a legitimate complaint about sip in a long time. No one proved a damn thing, they just got all upset about losing and nitpicked for complaints...which is what usually happens. You guys need to understand that sip has been a good owner here for a long time, and if you guys would stop ragging on him and giving him such a bad reputation there'd be a lot less problems

Hmm so like 10 owners complaining isn't enough? How could we prove it before?

Smells like same shit different day. Guess he gets the benefit of the doubt but when you have to remind someone to play "our style" when they screen it sounds bad.

But whatever. Guess we will see how the season plays out

It's not arguing. It's a well known fact that sip gets complained about by multiple owners every season. I'm not even stating my personal opinion.

Okay so I'd be available for any of the listed duties, being a founding member I feel a loyalty aspect to helping the league in anyway needed.

Also, just a side note: I have played Big Sip many times over the years and three things are certian.

1. Sip is not cheesey

2. Sip simply takes what you do poorly, and exploits it better than anyone I've ever played.

3. #2 really pisses people off, and they complain.
